Rosewood inlaid with Curly Ash – C – D, 5-5/8″ *Sold*

A breakthrough in tabla design, this is the second creation of an inlaid 8 pointed shell with a ornamental hardwood . Base shell wood is Rosewood, (Dalbergia Latifolia) and seamless inlaid points are Curly Ash hardwood (Fraxinus excelsior) which is functionally extinct now. This was a custom order, and the customer wanted this wood duet to create a flame like appearance running up the shell. Finished with handmade Hickory tuning pegs, and deluxe cover.
